Windstorm Insurance is vital and usually required for anyone living in the Gulf Coast region.  These policies will protect your home not only from Hurricanes but Tornadoes and Hail Damage as well.  If you do not live in a coastal region, this coverage will generally be included on your Homeowner's Policy.  As Independent Agents we also have policies that include Windstorm Coverage even for those who live in the Gulf Coast but do not wish to purchase insurance through the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association.
